Tournament win for Boston's juniors

Boston's juniors won a successful new junior team tournament hosted by Lindum Squash Club and sponsored by Karakal last weekend.

Boston topped the table after securing 370 points out of a possible 385 from their seven matches, finishing ahead of Metheringham, Lindum, two teams from Grantham, Horncastle, William Farr School and Woodfield Squash and Leisure Club.

Each team's total score was calculated by adding up their team score from each match, which was in turn calculated by adding up the number of points each player on the team won, with every player playing a single game up to 11.

Boston's team featured Lewis McManus at #1, Archie Fountain at #2, and Filip Wercienski, Jake Baker, Gabrielle Priestley & Liam Ricketts alternating at #3, #4 and #5.

Lindum Squash Club host their next sanctioned event in June, with entries closing later this week.
